here at www.caravan-insurance-cover.co.uk our aim is to provide more than just caravan insurance, it is to help you find the right insurance cover for your caravan, at the right price.
Insure My Caravan
Insure My Caravan is part of the insuremy insurance network, which is owned and run by CETA Insurance Ltd. The company is based in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, and are a national network of intermediaries with over 4,000 members in the UK, providing insurance products, since 1993, from a panel of the UK’s leading insurance companies.
The insuremy insurance network covers everything from household to travel to caravan insurance. They provide 50,000 quotes per day for all the types of insurance that they offer, working with insurers to find the best policies tailored to their customers' needs.
Insure My Caravan offer quotes through Fortis, IGI, K Drewe and TowerGate. They are confident that they will be able to provide customers with a great policy and price by using their price comparison quotation system.
Their caravan insurance policies all offer comprehensive cover against legal expenses, damage by Fire, Theft, Storm, Flood and cover for Public Liability.
Their caravan insurance can be purchased on the basis of New for old, agreed value or market value. If a customer chooses New for Old cover they must insure the caravan for the cost of a new caravan. For market value they must make sure the amount they cover your caravan for will cover the cost of a like for like replacement.
There are a number of other covers available and quite a few discounts depending on the individual insurer including:
- - Caravan contents insurance is available for personal possessions, bedding, household linen, utensils, furniture and furnishings that are not fixed to the caravan.
- - Travelling abroad to the continental is included in most caravan insurance policies anything from 180 days to 365 days. There is also a policy with no continental cover (after all, why pay for something you will never use?).
- - Their policies have a range of standard policy excesses from £75 - £250, plus customers can choose to take a higher excess for a discounted price.
- - The costs of needing the emergency removal of your caravan will be covered and even re-delivered once repaired.
- - Insurers will normally pay up to an amount for hotel accommodation if there is a loss of use of your caravan whilst the customer are away.
- - Most of their caravan insurers will cover customers for up to £2,000,000 public liability cover. This covers them in the event of they or their family being legally liable for causing death, injury or illness to any person or damage to property.
- - Their caravan insurance policies will give varying cover for customers' immediate family to use their caravan.
A standard wheelclamp and hitchlock are mandatory for most policies when the caravan is left unattended.
