They started business back in 1969 as 'Bakers of Cheltenham,' having been set up as a family run business by John Baker, before becoming part of the powerful Towergate brand. Towergate is Europe’s largest independently owned insurance intermediary, having been established in 1997.

They provide 2 types of touring caravan insurance policy:

• 'Essentials' is a less flexible product designed for those new to caravanning.
• 'Select' is an award winning Top End product for the more experienced caravanner.

Their static caravan policy has extensive 'loss of use' benefits which covers you whether you have rented the caravan out, or if your own holiday is affected.

Their insurance products are underwritten by one of the UK's largest insurers, Aviva.

The company has enjoyed remarkable growth in the niche caravan insurance market, with the growing popularity of caravanning, and park homes becoming an attractive and viable retirement accommodation option. They currently provide insurance for around 45,000 clients in the UK, and have achieved notable recent success in industry awards. In 2008 alone they achieved:
